For the Lawyers

The Senate Banking Committee has voted to send President Trump's nominee to be director of the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, Kathleen Kraninger, to the full Senate. No date has been set for a vote in the Senate, and nominations are currently backlogged in the Senate. But with no Republicans having raised objections to her nomination, she seems to have a good chance of winning confirmation to a five-year term as CFPB director. Click here for more.
