About 680,000 Baby Rattles Recalled Over Choking Hazard

Hundreds of thousands of baby rattles made by Kids II have been recalled due to the possibility that small beads can pose a choking hazard if part of the rattles break. The recalled Oball Rattles were sold at Target, Walgreens and Walmart, as well as online. Kids II has received 42 reports of the plastic disc that contains the beads breaking in Oball Rattles.

Costco raising membership fees. Starting June 1, annual membership fees for individual, business and business add-on members in the U.S. and Canada will rise $5 to $60. Executive memberships in the U.S. and Canada will increase from $110 to $120. Overall, the fee increases will affect around 35 million members.  Click here for more.

Non-English speaker held to terms of contract written in English. The A Florida appellate court reversed a trial court’s denial of a car dealership’s motion to compel arbitration, holding that because there was no evidence that the buyers, who did not read or speak English, attempted to learn or have explained to them what they were signing, or that the dealer’s representatives prevented them from doing so or misrepresented the terms, the trial court erred by finding there was no valid agreement to arbitrate. Kendall Imports, LLC v.
