Amazon Secured Half of Online Holiday Sales

According to a new data report, on the Monday before Christmas, 49.2% of all online sales in the country were made on Amazon. Your Money

If you really want to save big on a set of wheels, some experts recommend taking advantage of the crop of vehicles recently returned from a lease. The reason? Not just a lower price and a chance to get additional features, but customers can avoid a drop in value when the new car is driven off the lot. According to J.D. Power Ratings & Research, this year there is a 33 percent year-on-year surplus of cars that are being returned after a lease. Experts recommend to buy now while dealerships are eager to get the surplus off their lots.  Click here for more.

For the Lawyers

An "administratively feasible" way of identifying individual class members is not a prerequisite to certifying a class. The Ninth Circuit joined the Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Circuits in declining to adopt an administrative feasibility requirement. Briseno v. ConAgra (9th Cir. 2017). Click here for more.
