Justice Department Announces Actions Against Supplement Makers

The U.S. Justice Department has announced several actions against supplement makers for misleading and endangering the public. Six executives of the Texas company USPLabs, manufacturer of the supplements OxyElite Pro and Jack3d, were arrested for selling products which contained synthetic chemicals and stimulants despite being marketed as having "natural" ingredients. According to the federal indictment, the use of OxyElite Pro has resulted in at least one death and liver failure in others. These charges are just several of the charges the Feds are pursuing against 177 supplement manufacturers and/or distributors. Click here for more.
