The People’s Lawyer’s Tip of the DayThe Minnesota Attorney General recently Announced action against the nation's largest car donation charity, the Car Donation Foundation, for misleading people about how much of donations actually made it to charity uses in its "Wheels for Wishes" campaign. In this case, only 20% of the proceeds of car sales made it to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for children with cancer. Most of the money went to for profit corporations affiliated with the car donation company. Kia Recalls 377,000 Sorento SUVsKia is recalling 377,000 of its Sorento crossover SUVs because of the possibility that the transmission can shift out of the "park" position on its own.
