FTC Shuts Down Vemma Pyramid Scheme

A Federal Court granted the Federal Trade Commission's preliminary injunction to shut down Vemma Nutrition Company. The underlying action alleges that Vemma, like most illegal pyramid schemes, was a multilevel marketing company that made income by recruiting "affiliates" and not by actually selling the health and wellness drinks that are the company's alleged products.
