Ford Moves 1000 Jobs Back to US From Mexico

Pursuant to a 2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement reached between Ford and the United Auto Workers Union, Ford has moved production of F650 and F750 commercial trucks to the Ohio Assembly Plant from Mexico. The Ohio Assembly Plant produced the E Series of vans from its opening in 1974 until the E series was replaced by the Transit line of vans last year. Ford has invested $168 million in the Ohio Assembly Plant, and 2016 F650 and F750 trucks are now rolling off the lines, and should be on sale this Summer.

Falsity requires all reasonable experts agree. The Fourth Circuit held that "to state a false advertising claim on a theory that representations have been proven to be false, plaintiffs must allege that all reasonable experts in the field agree that the representations are false.” “When litigants concede that some reasonable and duly qualified scientific experts agree with a scientific proposition, they cannot also argue that the proposition is ‘literally false.’” In re GNC Corp.
