Staying Healthy When Everyone is Sick

This time of year, the incidents of colds and other acute sicknesses balloon. Bad weather conditions only make the problem worse, creating an environment ripe for illness. Getting well can be a tiresome process, especially when so many Americans face tight schedules and grueling work hours. That is, many people battling a "cold" simply don't have the time to recover. In turn, work productivity plummets, emotions can run high, and compounding sicknesses can occur.

So how do you stay well when everyone else seems to be sick? First, prevent the sickness in first place by practicing good hygiene. Also, studies have shown that zinc (not vitamin C) and probiotics can boost immunity to common acute sicknesses.

If you get sick, stay home. Even if you take medications that help you feel better, your body
needs to rest. By going to work or school, you may make others sick and only make your own condition worse.

Find out how you can stay well during the season of sicknesses.

Although the problem exists for many vehicles already on the road, Toyota is trying to avoid a recall, telling the NHTSA the problem is "inconsequential."

Which models are affected?

For the Lawyers

Right of rescission expires in three years.

The Sixth Circuit noted that the right of rescission under Truth in Lending expires three years after the date of the consummation of the transaction.

The court held this means a lawsuit must be filed within that time period, regardless of whether the creditor was notified of the rescission.
