SCOTUS May Decide on Recess Appointments

At first glance, National Labor Relations Board v. Noel Canning may appear to be nothing more than a labor dispute case. However, a closer look will show a deep struggle between the executive and legislative branches of government.



According to a Pepsi bottler company, Obama's nominees were not legally appointed, allowing the company to challenge the board's pro-union ruling in a collective bargaining dispute.



The Supreme Court is expected to accept the case on Monday. Should the court take the case, it will decide whether President Obama properly used the Constitution's "recess appointments" to bypass Senate approval of nominees.

Ibuprofen May Lead to Increased Health Risk

According to Dr. Tara Narula of Lenox Hill Hospital's cardiac care unit, overuse of common painkillers, including ibuprofen or naproxen, may lead to long term health problems.



The medications, classified as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, can increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.

Twinkies Set to Return July 15
