Chrysler Refuses to Recall 2.7M Vehicles

In a rare and highly unusual move, Chrysler is refusing to recall 2.7 million Jeep SUVs at the request of the federal government.



This week, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found the gas tank design on 1993 to 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokees and 2002 to 2007 Jeep Libertys to be unsafe. Chrysler countered that the placement of the gas tank is a commonly accepted design, and most fatalities resulted from high-speed, high-energy accidents.

Internet Ad Sales Reach New High

The Internet is big business!




The days of television, radio, and print advertisements may be slowly dwindling away. According to an Interactive Advertising Bureau release, first-quarter online ad revenue hit a record $9.6 billion, up 15% over last year.



With more consumers turning to the Internet for media, online advertising will continue to expand.

100+ High School Seniors Kicked Off Plane

On Monday, over 100 high school students and chaperones were removed from an AirTran flight for "non-compliant" behavior. According to the airline, many of the students refused to turn off electronic devices and remain seated. Although the pilot warned the students, they did not comply and were asked to leave, delaying the flight by 45 minutes.
