Voluntarily returning a car you can't pay for may not get you off the hook. In most cases, the car will be sold and you will owe the difference between your debt and what the car sells for. If you think the car is being accepted in exchange for release for your debt, get that agreement in writing.

Instagram Claims Right to Sell Your Photos

Have you ever wanted to wanted to be in a commercial or advertisement?




If you have an Instagram account, you may have no choice. According to representatives of the popular photo sharing site, Instagram now has the right to sell user photos under the terms of its new user policy.




In part, the user policy includes language like:




"[W]e will not be liable for any use or disclosure of content,"



"Instagram will not be liable for any use or disclosure of any content you provide"



"[Y]ou acknowledge that we may not always identify paid services, sponsored content, or commercial communications as such."

Southwest to Charge No-Show Passengers

Think twice before you no-show your next flight on Southwest Airlines. Traditionally, the airline has given no-show consumers a credit to apply toward a future ticket.



No more!



The new rule, which will start next year, is designed to generate new revenue and reduce no-shows. Consumers will be required to pay a cancellation fee in order to recover any portion of their original ticket payment.
