Generally, for the parent to be responsible, it is necessary to show the parent negligently supervised the child, and that is why the damage occurred. Kids will be kids and when something goes wrong, parents are usually not responsible. Record Breaking Black FridayBlack Friday started earlier than ever this year. With many stores opening on Thanksgiving (Thursday) evening, stores were able to capture shoppers who simply weren't willing to wake up at 4 AM in previous years to jump-start their holiday shopping. According to early reports, the gamble payed off. The amount of consumers taking advantage of post-Thanksgiving retail shopping was up nearly 10%, reaching an astonishing 247 million consumers. A survey conducted by the National Retail Federation found that total spending was up 13% over last year for the four-day holiday weekend.
