If someone offers to pay for something with a larger cashier's check and asks you for the difference in cash, it is probably a scam and the cashier's check is likely counterfeit. New Protections for Airline Passengers

Great news for consumers! The Department of Transportation recently announced several new protections for airline passengers. Among the key components, airlines will no longer be able to raise a fare after a consumer has purchased a ticket, the airlines must disclose all fees when selling a ticket, refund baggage fees (when bags are lost), and provide compensation when a passenger is involuntarily bumped from a flight.
