How to Find Hidden Bank Fees

How much do you pay your bank in fees? Most consumers simply don't know. Why? It can be very, very difficult to find fee disclosures. In order to generate new revenue, banks are inventing new fees and making it harder to avoid them, all while finding ways to hide the fees from you. A survey by PIRG found six out of ten bank branches made it difficult to impossible to find a fee schedule. House Passes New Budget Deal

The next step in keeping the government open has come and gone, as the House of Representatives voted 260-167 to pass a new budget. Fifty-nine republicans voted no on the measure, despite the efforts of House leader John Boehner to broker the deal with the President, the Senate, and other members of the House. The measure will now go before the Senate. The deal will cut $38.5 billion from the budget for the remainder the fiscal year.  Click here for more.
