Recall: Alcohol Pads Linked to BacteriaTriad Group has issued a voluntary recall of its alcohol swabs after a two-year old child contracted meningitis from the tainted product. According to reports, the swabs are contaminated with bacillus cereus, a life threatening bacteria. Other consumers, including MS and diabetes patients, have complained of rashes and infections at injection sites after using the swabs. The alcohol swabs are used in hospitals, included in some injection kits, and sold as a stand-alone product at most retail outlets. Fed to Investigate Texas BlackoutsEarlier this month, Texas State officials authorized rolling blackouts throughout the state, leaving many Texans without power. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has since launched an investigation to find out exactly what happened in Texas, and how to prevent it from happening in the future. The Commission has the authority to investigate coal-powered and natural gas systems. Click here for more. Clothing Prices on the RiseClothing prices are expected to climb 10% in the coming months. The economy is slowly recovering and the demand for clothing is on the rise. In addition to an increase in demand, the cost of labor and materials is also on the rise.
