Toyota Probe Finds No Electronic Flaws

One to two years ago, Toyota recalled eight million vehicles in 2008 and 2009 after numerous complaints of unwanted vehicle acceleration. Toyota's image was severely damaged. In addition to a damaged reputation, Toyota paid nearly $50 in fines to settle with the NHTSA. The Department of Transportation opened an investigation in to whether there was problem with the vehicle's electronic controls. According to a report released yesterday, the Department of Transportation found no electronic flaws in the Toyota systems.
