Stimulus Pays For 600,000 JobsAccording to White House officials, the stimulus program funded nearly 600,000 jobs in the fourth quarter. The funding was used to keep teachers in schools, maintain police departments, rebuild roads, and launch green energy initiatives. In total, the stimulus package has funded approximately 1.5 to 2 million jobs. However, since the stimulus was enacted, 3 million jobs have been lost.
