JPMorgan Pulls Out of Arbitration

When you signed your credit card contract, you likely signed away your right to sue in court. Instead, the contract likely required you to resolve all disputes through mandatory binding arbitration. As part of a recent settlement, JPMorgan Chase has announced the company will no longer compel cardholders to arbitration to resolve disputes. Furthermore, JPMorgan says it will drop the arbitration provision from its contract for at least 3 1/2 years. JPMorgan follows Bank of America as the most recent creditor to pull out of arbitration.
