Pfizer Pays $2.3B for Illegal Marketing

Prescription drug marketing is highly profitable business. There are great incentives to promote drugs for purposes not approved by the FDA. New Rules for Robocalls

As of September 1, Telemarketers who transmit unsolicited prerecorded messages to consumers will face penalties of up to $16,000 per call. In sum, the use of robocalls to call consumers without their consent is illegal. Consumers are encouraged to inform the FTC of any future violations.  Click here for more.
