Facebook "Forever"

On Feb. 4, 2009, Facebook quietly changed their terms of service agreement to allow the company a perpetual license to use anything you post to your Facebook page; even if you terminate your account. A U.S. District Court in Louisiana has held that a tax preparation business may be liable for discarding a customer's personal information in a dumpster -- even though the plaintiff suffered no losses attributable to identity theft.
